The Quest Classic - Escape from Asteroids serves as a compelling expansion to The Quest Classic, immersing players further into its beautifully crafted, hand-drawn universe filled with intriguing challenges and quests.

Upon enabling the expansion, players can seamlessly continue their adventures with existing characters, diving into newly introduced areas. Alternatively, those new to the franchise can experience this expansion as a standalone title.

The narrative unfolds as you, the hero, find your ship off course, drawn into a black hole that transports you to a distant realm. The familiar landscapes of the previous game have been replaced by a disorienting environment marked by fiery asteroids and an overwhelming sense of loss. Upon regaining consciousness in an unfamiliar chamber, you encounter an otherworldly being—the Asteroid Mage.

The Mage offers a series of formidable quests, testing your mettle and determination. Successful navigation of these challenges opens a myriad of pathways: engage in battles against formidable foes, join the miners' guild, extract valuable minerals, forge weapons and armor, brew potions, and even partake in the whimsical task of dragon care. Yet, amid these pursuits lies the constant threat of danger, particularly within the perils of the mines.

To access the new regions (not applicable for standalone play), head to Mithria harbor and converse with Captain Hanty, selecting "Roids" as your destination. It is advisable to reach at least level 40 to tackle this expansion's challenges effectively. Additionally, once you travel to the new area, returning will not be possible for some time—unless you've marked a spot—thus maintaining a save file in Mithria is prudent.
